ABOUT

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, electric bassist and violinist.

Vera has spent a decade travelling the musical world. Various cultural influences, from Paraguay to the USA, Ireland, England and Spain, characterize her unique and alchemical style of transforming experienced emotion into music. Vera's voice flies through airy heights and flows with soulful depth. She sings with a lyrical directness that, time and time again, touches the audience.
With her music, which could be described as "jazz-folk", she manages to conjure up original sounds, whistling tones and whizzing rhythms, that surprise our ears in this sound-filled world.

Vera was, from a young age on, classically trained in Austria (recorder, violin, voice), studied Songwriting/Voice at BCFE in Dublin and Electric Bass/Songwriting/Voice at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

At Berklee she studied with renowned bassist Victor Wooten, who had a fundamental influence on her musical skills and her personal development as an artist. She was also bassist for Veronica Robles in the only female mariachi band in New England, USA.
Vera currently plays concerts and lives in Tyrol, Austria, where she teaches singing and songwriting.
