Vera Gsenger

ABOUT
Vera Gsenger is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, bass player and violinist, whose time abroad has shaped her alchemical style of turning emotions into music. This ongoing process has also been accompanied and inspired by the creations of Joni Mitchell (CA), Wallis Bird (IR) und Nai Palm (AUS).
Vera was classically trained in Austria, studied Songwriting/Voice at BCFE in Dublin, and E-Bass/Songwriting/Voice at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
At Berklee, Vera studied with renowned bassist Victor Wooten, who profoundly shaped her musicianship and personal outlook as an artist. Additionally, she was the bass player for Veronica Robles in the only all female Mariachi band of New England.
Now Vera performs throughout Europe, and currently resides in Innsbruck, Austria, where she teaches voice and songwriting.
